Data Privacy Agent on Android

Chrome on Android doesn’t support extensions, so Android runs on Firefox Nightly for now. Five steps, about three minutes, updates automatic afterward.

  1. 1Install Firefox NightlyGet it free from the Play Store. It installs alongside your normal browser — nothing changes about how you usually browse.
  2. 2Unlock the debug menuIn Nightly: Settings → About Firefox Nightly → tap the Firefox logo 5 times. A small “debug menu enabled” message appears.
  3. 3Download the extensionOpen the button below in Nightly — it downloads the extension file (.xpi).
  4. 4Install from fileSettings → Advanced → Install extension from file → pick the file you just downloaded → tap Add when it asks for permissions.
  5. 5That's it — browse normallyCookie pop-ups get rejected for you automatically. Check the puzzle-piece menu for Data Privacy Agent to see what it's done on any site. Updates arrive automatically from here on.
Download the extension (.xpi)

Open this page in Firefox Nightly first, then tap the button. Firefox Beta works too (same 5-tap trick). Regular Firefox will refuse the install — that’s expected, not a bug.

Want to verify it’s working?

Visit a site with a cookie banner (amazon.co.uk and mxgp.com show one reliably). The banner should disappear on its own within a few seconds. If a site’s pop-up slips through, use the report button in the extension — reported sites are usually fixed within a day, and the fix reaches you without an update.
